Friday Wind Down – Don’t Forget To Meditate and Hold On To Your Peace

Congratulations on another great week at the office. You gave it all you had, served your employer with all your might and that is commendable. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Work life is hard and as we saw throughout this week that there are many peace stealers in our work environments. Hopefully, you are prayed up and have learned how to overcome people and situations that are trying to steal your peace day in and day out on your job. Stay in control of your emotions.
Why don’t you wrap up the work with by taking some time to meditate. Go outside and find a bench or go to your car and just meditate. Sit alone and avoid the urge to people watch. Take some time to clear your thoughts, renew your mind, pray and be at peace. Get ready to mentally transition into the weekend and then into another work week.
Key word for the day is meditate. Try to meditate for at least 15 minutes today but go as long as you can. Say it aloud “Meditate!” Write it down “Meditate.” Put it on the calendar as an appointment “Meditate.” Come back and comment below after you’ve had a chance to meditate.
