– Incorporate exercise into your work day

There are many ways to ensure you have a physically active life when you have a desk job. There are many desks exercises and stretches that can be done throughout the day. If you work in a building with more

than one floor feel free to take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park as far away from the building entrance as possible. If you are at a large office park, walk around the facility at lunch. Many companies have on site gyms or there may be commercial gyms nearby that you can go to at lunch. Also look out for company sponsored yoga classes. Let the FGCC family know how you’ve been able to stay fit while having a job that requires you to sit throughout the day.
